Founder & CEO, The Andy App

Michael Reeves is the founder and CEO of The Andy App, the first property tax protest and exemption app on the Apple App Store and Google Play. Based in McKinney, Texas, The Andy App lets homeowners protest their property taxes from their phone, using AI to pull comps and turn photos of a home's real condition into evidence for a lower taxable value.

Michael has worked in the Texas property tax industry since 2014, from helping scale a property tax consulting firm through its sale to private equity, to founding his own property tax lending company, which he sold in 2024 to focus full time on Andy. After seeing that 97% of his lending clients had never protested their property taxes, he set out to make protesting as simple as a click of a button.

The Andy App won the Wells Fargo-sponsored North Texas Startups Demo Day and the McKinney Economic Development Innovation Technology Award. Michael is also the author of Taxed By Algorithm.
