A homeowner tried to protest with photos from three years ago. The county ran its own AI on them and threw the evidence out.
Michael Reeves, founder and CEO of The Andy App, explains how the counties are catching up. We cover whether a buyer could ever see the photos your client used in a protest (they can't, it's tax-only data and it's deleted after the year), why market value and taxable value are two different numbers, and why using a neighbor's photos won't work when Zillow has the history.
The part most people don't know: you can argue hardship. A divorce, a lost job or a drop in income can go into the protest, and the county has been open to hearing it.
